Police bring down drone outside prison
Prison CCTV cameras captured the dramatic moment a plain clothes detective brings down a drone trying to smuggle drugs into Pentoville Prison.
The detective was in an undercover car parked outside the Victorian jail's walls when he spotted the drone hover overhead with a piece of string dangling down.
The officer then yanked it bringing the drone crashing to the floor.
The officers had been investigating another drone crash at the north London prison when the drone controlled by Charlie Adifiyi, 21, came into view.
The officers were part of 'Operation Airborne' - intended to combat the use of drones at Pentonville.
